    a style of dance that began in France in the early 17th century is the beginning of what came to be known as Baroque dance, characterized by precise, highly stylized choreography, and is generally considered to be the ending point of Renaissance dance.

But in USA, a country of ghettos, it had a special isolation from society.And then she spilled on the streets of white quarters and then to the masses - the show-business, discos, cinema, etc.
  • Modern Dance

    -Early modern dancers looked beyond the dominant tradition of Western theatrical dance (ballet) in order to give their dance a more communicative power. They drew on archaic or exotic sources for inspiration. During the same period, some ballet choreographers also looked to similar sources.
    -History of modern dance cannot be complete without Isadora Duncan, thus we start off with that. In 1903, Isadora Duncan devised a dance technique, inspired by Friedrich Nietzsche's philosophy.
