Making Calls
I called the nursing home to ask if I can come to volunteer. -
Called Back
The nursing home called me back and I will go to the nursing over the weekend to take an interview in order to sign me up for the volunteering. -
Interview
I went to the nursing home and had an interview in order to officially become a volunteer for the nursing home. I then played for about 15 minutes on both floors to get used to the performance and adjust which songs I play according to how they are received by the residents. -
First Performance
I went to the nursing home, signed in and played for the residents. I played for about 30-35 minutes on both floors. I got an overwhelming happy response from the residents. The staff also enjoyed hearing the music. -
2nd Performance
I played for the residents again. They all were very happy to hear me playing and were cheered up and excited after I left. I gave a positive impact on them. The performances were around 30 mins each (I played on both floors once again).
