    the house of burgess was made up elected representative's from Virginia. everything people did had to go threw great Britain to be okayed and American colonist where sick and tired of this. so they made there own sort of approval system called the house of burgess. Netherlanders brought something to the game called a patroon. patroons where large land owners that collected rent on people that live off there land. then 1652 - 1674 Britain and the Dutch fought three wars. in 1664 Britain set a naval fleet and the Dutch surrendered without a fight. Britain re named it York.

    in 1630 a group of prritions arrived in Massachusetts and found a bay now names Massachusetts bay. A charter of about 1,000 settlers sent bye king Charles was sent out to Massachusetts to settle. this colony slowly gained 21,000 more people gaining a established government. but the in 1680 the king gained control over the colony.

    lord baltamore asked king Charles to grant him 100 million acres. it was created as a pronrcultary colony, which means the owner was the ruler not the king. but then Baltimore died leaving his property to his son. his son then gave a free 100 acres to any married couple that settled on his land. people took advantage of this and it soon became protestant's.

    the fundamental orders of Connecticut are an American founding document. it originated from Thomas hooker led puritans that resided in massucests to a Connecticut valley. three years later they came up with the fundamental orders of Connecticut. this proved that there orders dint come from the king but the free men of the colony. it was some what a written constition. this helped establish a governor and court system.

    Nathaniel bacon arrived in Virginia in 1673 and led a armed up rising against governor Berkley. he was upset over the fact that he could take more land and kill more Indians. before English worships arrived he burned down Jamestown and declared himself ruler over Virginia. this caused indentured servants to become slaves, because this was an example of lower people rising to power.

    in 1681 William Penn was granted a charter for the colony of pennsavania. this was made to be a holy experiment. men where granted 50 acres to settle on and had the right to vote. Then William became a quicker and his colony transitioned to mostly being Quakers. These people where largely ridiculed for there religion.

    a man in Salem was walking into the woods when we saw a group of girls dancing around a caldron. shortly after those woman claimed to be witched. the original witches accused 150 others resulting in Salem becoming very destressed. there was soon a public decision to expunge the trials very shortly when the crossed the line bye crushing a man.

Any that where already settled had to move. Americans ignored it and colonist still found ways to settle.

    This puraton migration consisted of a few hundred pilgrims who went to Plymouth Colony in the 1620s and between 13,000 and 21,000 emigrants who went to the Massachusetts Bay Colony between 1630 and 1642. this was manly due to the persecution of there faith and economical issues. but, it was mainly so the could create a church entirely free of royal control.
