    The Korean war lasted 3 years and was a battle against communist North Korea and allied powers such as China and Russia, they were against South Korea and they were allied with the United Nations and Australia. The reason the war started was because North Korea wanted to spread communism and they decided to invade South Korea, which was supported by the U.S.

    The Cuban Missile was a dangerous confrontation between the U.S and the Soviet Union. This was started because the Soviet Union was building missile sites in Cuba. This was one of the most on edge and dangerous part of the entire Cold War. They solved this problem once Khrushchev agreed to remove Russian missiles from Cuba in exchange for a promise from the U.S to respect Cuba's Sovereignty.

    Mao Zedong told the Chinese youth to purge the "impure" elements of Chinese society and also to revive the revolutionary spirit of that lead them to victory 200 years earlier. This all took place in communist China, He felt like the Soviet Union had too much of a emphasis on expertise rather than on ideological purity.

    The reason the revolt started was when Alexander Dubček was elected and he spread his ideas of open elections and freedom and the fact that the Warsaw Pact was bad, the Soviets didn't like that he was trying to change their way of communism so they invaded Czechoslovakia which lead to peaceful protest in the streets and the death of Alexander Dubček.
