Rosa Parks
On December 1, 1955, in Alabama Rosa Parks refused to give up her set to a white male she got arrested. She wanted to end the segregation and Jim crow laws. After her arrest, she worked with Marther Luther King Jr. She also joined the NAACP. She published a book called Rosa Parks: My story. She died on October 24, 2005. Rosa Parks impacted society because she started the Montgomery BUs BoyCott. -

Man Lands On The Moon
On July 20, 1964, at 4:17 pm Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins piloted Apollo ll. Over 600 million people were watching them go up t space. Armstrong became the first person to walk on the moon at 10:56. Planted an American flag, gather moon samples to study, and to return t earth safely. Landed in the Pacific ocean. Man lands on the moon impacted economy because the U.S was the first to make it to the moon. -
Robert F. Kennedy's Assassination
On June 4, 1968, Robert Kennedy was in Los Angeles, California campaigning to become president. When he was done he was told to take the back way. So he wants through the kitchen. As he was meeting people in the kitchen Sirhan Sirhan came out from behind a fridge and shot Kennedy 3 times. Sirhan Sirhan shot Kennedy because of Kennedy's support for Israel's military policies. In October 2001 President George W. Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair decided to go to war with Iraq. This was in response to the September 11th attack. The United States wanted to protect oil resources. They also wanted to make the world safe from terrorist.
