    Proslavery Brorder Ruffians raided Lawrence, Kansas they pillaged homes, burned down the Free State Hotel and destroyed the newspaper. John Brown retalitied and executed 5 proslavery settelers near Pottawatomie Creek. In then following months more violience occured and reporters called it Bleeding Kansas.
