Chase Claypool

  • Birth

    Chase was born on July 7th, 1998. In Abbotsford, British Columbia.
  • Signing Day

    This is when he got the call from Notre Dame they were gonna give him a scholarship.
  • First Start for the Fighting Irish

    Chase got his first start against Nevada in the fall of his Freshman Season.
  • Sophmore season

    Chase freshman year wasn't all that impressive but he changed things around his sophomore year. He averages 11.4 yards a catch and had over 500 receiving yards
  • Junior season

    Chase Junior is where he really started to shine. He led his team in receptions and receiving yards with over 1100. Leading his team to the College Football Playoffs. He was going to be a very high draft pick.
  • Senior Season

    Chase returning for his senior season was a big question mark for some people. This however would increase his draft stock a lot. After his junior season, he was projection late fourth-rounder this however would change come April.
  • Draft

    Entering the draft Chase didn't expect to go very high. That is until he got the call from Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin. The Steelers draft Chase in the early parts of the second round and it was a steal.
  • First start

    Chase's first start was against the New York Giants. He only had two catches but he excited Steelers fan about how good he could be
  • First Touchdown

    His first touchdown was against the Broncos where he finished with three catches and 88 yards and a touchdown. A very good start to the amazing rookie season he would have.
  • Breaking Steeler's Rookie record

    In a week four matchup against the Eagles, Chase had over 150 yards and 5 touchdowns on the day to give him the Steeler's rookie touchdown record and it was only week four.
