This is important to Canada because it was a tribe that was killed for the land, they became extinct due to the actions we took. This effects the Canadian identity because Canada has apoligized for what they have done to the First Nations people and has made special arrangments for them.

    The RCMP is an important uniform as a symbol of Canada. There was a big uproar about this topic as it was changing an important symbol in Canada. This is important to Canada because it shows just how multicultural Canada is.

Although some First Nations peoples stil struggle because of the past, Canada has helped within many ways. This is a factor to Canada`s identity because Canada is a peace keeping country, which can mean apoligizing for some mistakes that have been made through the past.
