Canadian immigration would not allow the ship to land and they had to go back to europe where many later died in death camps. This shows that canada's government was only thinking about canada and they did not care about what will happen to them if they go back to eurpe and this event shows that canada was not welcoming to refugees at ww2.

    Battle of Atlantic was going on from the beginning of the war to the end.Canada becomes the chief arms source of the war so Canada had to ship food products and other goods across Atlantic Ocean to Britain.While Canada was shipping goods to Britain,Germans attacked the ships,in war time and many people lost their lives in this away and many risk theirs to Shipp thise goods for soldiers.This Impacted Canads's economy and got Canada out of depression by making jobs in different factoryes people

    Battle of Dieppe happened in August of 1942, 5000 Canadians soldiers attacked Natzi Germany in Coast of France (Dieppe) it was supposed to be a surprised attack but it was a very bad surprise attack and with out any plans.This battel was a failure,907 Canadian soldiers got killed,586 soldiers wounded and1,946 soldiers got captured.This battel impact was that many soldiers died and many were wounded and it was a lesson for Canadians and Britain how is Germany's defense in the Coast of France
