Integrals
This image means I got this. Look at that smug look! I am by no means as quick as other students at recognizing integrals but I believe I have the ability to effectively complete this skill when take a moment to think. -
Differential Equations
I was absent on this day, so I worry that I do not fully understand this concept. I hope to ask Mr. Hyman (wink wink) for some extra review assistance on this and many other subjects because if I get a 4 0r a 5 on this test I get 8 credits. P.S. the picture makes sense because they are different. -
Serious Serieses and Sequences
This, as for many others, is not my strong suit. Reviewing that chart with the different techniques to determine convergence will be important as we approach the AP. If you could just check the homework on the back and return the chart quickly, I feel many of us would appreciate that. The image is a very "serious" part of my favorite series. -
Infinite and Power Series
I think I got my necessary refresher on remainders and infinite series today, but I could definitely use a chart of some sort with the power series I need to know, though I may be able to find those in my notes. The picture is me getting closer to my goal.Also, this is the best song in Disney. -
More power Series
Today was a good review. Since we did this topic not too long ago, this refresher is bringing back to me the more important parts. I will need to work with intervals of convergence with geometric series a bit more before the AP. This picture is of two gods, both very powerful. -
Advanced Integration
When we actually did this unit, I was not even a bit confident in my ability to successfully complete these problems. Yet, since integration is so... cough... integrated... into the rest of the curriculum I feel more confident with this task. This picture is when Pixar finally integrated, and chose a female protagonist. -
Shell and Disk Method
The Shell method still tends to confuse me, but I think that, most times. it is just the integral of x times f(x) then multiplied by 2pi. The disk method has been a strength for a while and I am relying on it for any rotation problems. The cross sections problems are also usually fairly simple, so I am confident with those. This picture is a confused shell, because puns are funny still, I think. -
Polar Curves
Errr what? Even though this was the most recent new topic, I still find I struggle with anything that moves past "Convert this point/curve from polar." My computer was down yesterday so I have already taken the polar test. I can honestly say this was probably not my worst test, yet that does not mean I did very well. I was feeling very confident in my self when I was taking the take-home practice AP, so I would like the test back before the AP. The penguins and I feel the same about polars.
