First Day of Elementary School
I began to make new friends and start to explore the world away form my parents. I trried to be more creative and I did a lot of writing (in elementary school, not on the first day...) I would be stuck in school for a very long time... a start of a new era :)
In this stage I was made to feel inferior a lot, because my teachers were jerks, and nothing I did could ever compare to my brother. -

Adolescence: Identity v Confusion -
Joined Orchestra
First day of orchestra class.
This affected my identity as a musician and violinist. Violin is a huge part of my life. I used to hate music, now I don't. Strange things happen. I quit piano and played violin. Best choice of my life. -
Surgery
I had surgery to remove a tumor on the side of my face. I woke with half my face basically paralyzed and unable to smile whitout looking like frankenstein. The weeks/months after were painful and frustrating and I learned who my true friends were. I was in a lot of pain, and when I reached out for help, those "friends" ignored me. So... I made new friends who care for me and support me. I don't care about my appearance anymore. Regardless of what I look like, I'm still me. -
Missouri Scholars Academy
I attended MSA, which help me solidify my identiy as a math nerd. I learned about interacting with others and aleph naught. Aleph naught is the set of all natural numbers (commonly referred to as infinity) and aleph is the hebrew letter that is where the letter A comes from, Connections are cool. -
Recieved Driver's License
I became more independent, able to drive myself where I want to go instead of having to ask my parents for permission and rides. I have more control over my money and what I spend it on. -
Graduation
Graduated high school. This affected my identity because it made me more independent, and the option to choose what to do during the day. This causes to be viewed as an adult by family and friends. Yay. -

Young Adulthood: Intimacy vs. Isolation -
Graduated College
I graduated college, marking me as an independent and financially self-dependent adult. I met my partner during college and we're going to get married! And maybe have tons of babies...? Who knows! -
BABY
It's a... boy! (I think...) From this moment on, my life revolves around my new baby boy and providing him the best life and future that I can. It's time to make adult decisions. Save money for the future, and heck grandchildren. My parents/friends of parents see me as another parent, and not a child. We have good secure jobs and are rocking our way through life. -

Middle adulthood: Generativeity vs. stagnation -
Publish a novel
I write my first novel. It's a fantasy novel and I spent a lot of time thinking about things. I want my prosperity to read this novel and I want them to be proud of it and not want to hide it, like it's some shameful secret. Many more to come (including a memoir that hopefully my grandchildren and great grandchildren will read to remember me in my death. Of course I'm not that old yet. I'm only 56! I still got like half my life left) -
