    Lexington and Concord
    the British soldiers were on the move and towns were being notified about it, they then had a clash and some minute men were injured. it wasnt a long battle and only one solider was hurt in that battle
  • The Battle of Bunker Hill

    The Battle of Bunker Hill
    as the British were stuck in Boston, the general decided to attack a town near bunker hill. it didn't go as planned and they ended up have over a 1,000 causality's. they managed to wound 450 of the other solders.
  • New York City

    in this year the British tried to obtain control of new York city and then go on to win the war. they went into battle with 32,000 foreign soldiers
  • Trenton

    the army became desperate to win a battle so they decided to take and easy victory . they led no more then 3,000 troops to Trenton new jersey and defeated hessian in a surprise attack.
  • Saratoga

    the Americans surrounded the Burgoyne troops up and they ended up surrendering. the American took the win and moved on to valley forge .
  • Philadelphia / Valley Forge

    Philadelphia / Valley Forge
    the French signed a treaty with the Americans in hopes to help them win the war. as they ran low on supplies they fought and sent a letter to Washington in hopes of help

    many foreign captains offered help to train the troops of America. this year the American army became a very deadly force with the help of the foreign army

    the American army and the British army where going back and forth until the British army decided to give up. the Americans obtained victory after the long battle no one believed they could win.

    this was the treaty that set the U.S as its own nation and became independent from the rest of the world. the U.S is now so large it went from the Mississippi river to the Florida boarders.
