The importance of this war is that it started the whole american revolution. The British won at lexington but the americans won at concord.

    There were 2,400 british fighting against 1,500 colonist. The british were very heavily armed with muskets and bayonets. They soon drove the colonist straight out of charlestown Pennsylvania. The importance of this battle was that the colonist were drove out of the boston harbor which was not good.
