Columbus discovered America October 11th, 1492. His crew was about to commit mutiny against Columbus. Columbus told them that if they don't get to India in a week then they will return home and they landed in America the very next day. -

Virginia was the first colony of the 13 colonies to be founded. It was first founded on May 14th, 1607. -

Georgia was founded on January 2nd, 1732. It was the last colony to be established. -

The French and Indian War began on May 28th of 1754. Washington deafeats the French in a surprise attack. -
Start of the Industrial Revolution
Although my month and day may not be totally accurate, the Industrial Revolution did start in 1760.The Industrial Revolution led to the invention of lots of inventions like the steam engine, the factory, gotton gin, interchangeable parts, and many more. It ended somewhere around 1820 and 1840. -
French and Indian War Ends
The French and Indian War begins on Febuary 10th, 1763. When the Treaty of Paris was signed, the war had ended. -
Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea Party was on the 16th of December in 1773. When the Tea Act came into effect, the colonists were outraged and went on British ships disguised as Indians to throw the tea on board overboard. -
Revolutionary War Begins
The Revolutionary War began on the 19th of April in 1775. British troops encounter American leaders in Lexington. This is where "the shot heard around the world" occured and no one knows who shot the first shot. -
Revolutionary War Ends
The Revolutionary War ended on September 3rd, 1783. The Americans won and the Treaty of Paris was also signed in January 14th, 1783. -

The signing of the US Constitution occured on September 17th, 1787. The Constitution established America's government, laws and basic rights of AMerican citizens. -
Lewis and Clark Expedition Begins
The Lewis and Clark Expedition began on May 21st, 1803. They went to learn more about the western part of America. -
Lewis and Clark Expedition Ends
The Lewis and Clark Expedition ended on April 28th, 1806. Lewis and Clark had met many Indian tribes and recorded many different animal species likes, birds, insects, and bison. -
Missouri Compromise
The Missouri Compromise was a compromise to have Maine be a free state and have Missouri stay a slave state. The Missouri Compromise was set in place on March 3rd of 1820. -
The Bleeding Kansas Act
The Bleeding Kansas Act allowed people in territories of Nebraska or Kansas decide for themselves whether or not they wanted to allow slavery. This act was signed by the US Congress on May 30th, 1854.
