It was supposed to be a home to Alexandre, and it was for awhile, but creditors began to chase after him. He was forced to flee the country, but fortunately never ceased his writing.

    Dumas died in the home of his son in Puys, France, and was buried in the town he was born. However, in the year 2002, his body was moved to the Panthéon in Paris. This was done so he could rest near other French literary legends.
