    - The edict of Milan was a ruling that any religion is accepted.

    - There was a plague in 540. It was a disease that affected Eastern Byzantine Empire but especially the capital of Constantinople

    • To deal with the Nika Riots he sent then to the hippodrome to make a deal but instead he killed them.
    • He biult the Hagia Sofia six weeks after so people will think nothing terrible happened.
