I was born early. The doctors at the hospital induced my mother. The reason because we both had pneumonia. I was born around 5 pounds. It made me realize that I can overcome. -

Started high school
The day that I started to really have to think about expanding my education. Classes were harder and all my courses counted. This is when I started to take my futur more serious. -

My uncle passed
My uncle was killed by a tree branch when he was cutting wood. This changed a lot in my life because this was the first death that happened in my family since I was born. The worse thing about it was that my cousin my uncle's son is the person who found him. This was my first time actually experiencing a person close to me pass away. -
My aunt passed
My aunt Lula passes away from ovarian cancer. This was her second time having it. This time it had spread all over her body. It was a waiting game to see when she was going to pass. Everyone in my family traveled to Texas to say their last goodbyes. A week later she told her daughter that she was ready to go they took her off the medication and an hour later she died. April 9th, 2017 her sister died. That is when I realized that life is not fair and everyone has a day to go. -
My dad moved out

My sister had scoliosis surgery.
My sister and I both have scoliosis. Her curve was at 48 degrees. My curve was only 28 degrees. Your curve has to be between 45-50 degrees to have surgery. That day I realized that back surgery is a very serious thing and I need to take me having scoliosis seriously. -
