    1902- Willis Carrier invented electrical air conditioning. He did this after graduating from college. Carrier was working for a blacksmithing company when he began to work on a project for a lithographing company. The heat and humidity was causing the paper they worked with to become damp, and roll up at its edges. People did not want to purchase their products because of this.
