  • The invention of the electric light, telephone, and airplane

    The light was first invented (or tinkered with) in 1800 by Alessandro Volta, and again in 1802 by Humphry Davy. Many others as well. But the light (bulb) was commercially practiced in 1879 by Thomas Edison. In 1876, Alexander Graham Bell made the first call to his assistant on March 10. In December of 1903 (the 17 to be exact), the Wright brothers made history with the first record of flight.
