    Margret Sanger was a woman in favor of women's rights who fought for their right to control when they would conceive by providing a way for them to prevent pregnancy. She was the founder of Planned Parenthood.

    This is a trial held in court against a Christian science teacher over how religious teachings should not be forced onto students to believe and that Evolution should be a taught subject. This was a time where Evolution was beginning to arise as a scientific fact. Scopes won the trial but the people who took him to trial had accomplished what they wanted in that people would start to question the authenticity of Christianity.

    This happened as a result of a protest against the Vietnam war. To control the crowd Nixon sent troops to try to break up the crowd, but rather than just use authority to break it up they start shooting aimlessly into the crowd of students. 4 were killed and 9 were left injured only to be coldly regarded as "dumb students" by Nixon.

    This was a tragic act of terrorism in the United States. It wasn't the first act but it was one of the first major ones. Muslim terrorists hijacked a plane and few it into the World Trade Center killing hundreds and striking fear into the hearts of Americans.
