    Trail of Death
The trail of Death started in northern Indiana when the governor of Indiana, David Wallace decided that the Indians must leave. He ordered John Tipton to be in charge of the removal of the Indians. John Tipton called for 100 men to go out and campture any Indians within a 50 mile radius. They captured all these Indians and put them in a wagon and took them away, so many Indians died, which gives it it's name.
