Group of four founding families start meeting weekly to discuss how to create an ecovillage cohousing community. The values and expertise of the founding members drove the intention of the community, and came from their roles with Maine Businesses for Social Responsibility (MEBSR), Energy Works (now ReVision Energy), G.O Logic Homes, permaculture-based landscape architecture training, sustainable agriculture, and creating farm-based Montessori elementary school. -
