Gap Fire beigins 1 mile east of route 154 , near Lizard's mouth landmark. -

"A fire is burning in the hills above Santa Barbara this evening. White smoke visible and smell of smoke clear from Girsh Park. Sounds like at least one helicopter is fighting it. Someone heard the fire is near the Gun Club up San Marcos Pass." -
