This organization was formed to protect consumers from farmers who used too many pesticides on their crops. It was made to keep foods more pure and safe. -
Harrison Act
An act in Congress to put a tax on narcotics imported into the country, and resticted the use of narcotics legally. The main drug/ plant was opium.
