  • R and G Proposed the Idead of HBC

    R and G travelled to England, where it took the vision and connections of Prince Rupert.
  • The Nonsuch

    The first ship, the Nonsuch, was sent to Hudson Bay.
  • HBC Was Chartered and Land Was Granted

    the HBC was chartered and the Hudson Bay watershed was now considered 'owned' by HBC.
  • Treaty of Utrecht

    With the treaty of Utrecht, the French acknowledged the English claim to the Bay area.
