The First Hurdle
Over a span of 12 months, I will receive 24 paychecks. At this point in time, I should have roughly 1200 dollars saved, if I take $50 from each paycheck received. -
The Leap of Faith
A year and a half later and I know I will have urges and a leap of faith. I know I will run into emergencies, but I must keep my guard up and realize that I need to save the money at all costs. Literally. At this point I should have at least, or close to 1800 dollars. -
The Inchworm Maneuver
48 paychecks later and I will have saved about 2400 dollars. Like an inchworm, I am closing the distance between me and my final goal of 5000 dollars. -
The Broken Battle
3 years later and I will have saved 3600 dollars. However, with who I am and how I think, I will be thinking I have 3600 dollars at my disposal. It will be a broken battle with me, myself and I.Therefore, at this point in time, I will ask a friend or relative to help control my urges to spend or do anything rash. My goal is to save to 5000 dollars and I plan on doing that. -
I'm Breakin' Free!
By year four I will have roughly 4800 dollars. I am not quite breakin' free like in High School Musical, but I am close. As long as I can make it this far, I know I will have the strength to complete my goal. And I really will be breakin' free!
