Australia Between The Wars - Personality Timeline

    Lesson 6
    Students will be given a choice of three individuals from Section B of the syllabus:
    Dame Nellie Melba (1920's)
    Sir Charles Kingsford Smith (1920's)
    Sir Donald Bradman (1930's) Students will be told that they are to explain the achievements of the individual they select and also explain their contribution to Australian history. Students will do so using the webtool timetoast. The teacher will introduce the students to the webtool and take them through the process of creating an account.

    Lesson 7
    Students will spend this lesson gathering the information that is required to create their timeline. During this period the teacher will also take the students through the process of creating the timeline and effectively using ttimetoast to show they have met the required outcomes for this section of the syllabus.
  • Lesson 8

    Lesson 8
    Students will spend this lesson entering the information they have gathered into timetoast to create their final product. By the end of this process students will have shown that they have met the outcomes and are able to explain the achievements of their chosen individual and their contribution to and significance in Australian history, through the use of ICT
