  • Louisiana Purchase

    Thomas Jefferson bought the Louisiana Territory from Napolean Bonaparte. He was the leader of the French army. The purchase nearly doubled the size on the United States of America. Considering the size of the territory, Jefferson got it for a very reasonably price. He had one of his secretarys, Meriwether Clark, plan a expiditon to explore the new territory
  • Aaron Burris captured

    Aaron Burr is captured near the city of New Oreleans in Louisiana. He found out a way to escape but ended up being captured. He was charged with treason and other things in April of 1807. He was tried in Richond,Virginia. With more charges pending, he escapes a second time. This time he is successful. He escaped to England.
  • Missouri Compramise

    The Missouri Compramise was fianally accepted on March 3,1820. The compramise accepted Missouri as a slave state and Maine as a free state. That helped keep the balance of slave states and free states in the House of Representatives and the Senate.
  • Adams and Jefferson Die

    Thomas Jefferson and John Adams some how ended up dieing on the exact same day. Later on in life, they had become pretty good friends. The ironic thing was, that when they were both running for president, they were like sworn enemys. John Adams was older than Thomas Jefferson
  • Texas Declares Independence from Mexico

    After being a part of Mexico for so many years, Texas finally declared its independence from Mexico. Mexico was being really unreasonable with the citizens of Texas. It was similar to the situation that happened between America and England
  • Battle of Wounded Knee

    The Battle of Wounded Knee was a massacre of over 200 men, women, and children. The 7th calvary were the ones responsible for the horrific event. It all started when the 7th cavalry was supposed to take the wepons from the las Sioux tribe to surrender. When one deaf Indian didn't give up his wepon, absolute chaos broke out
