    In 1992 Neil Papworth sent the the first text message. Instant written word changed the way future generations communicated with each other

    In 1994 the first PlayStation was released. Created by Ken Kutaragi; it was the first gaming system to use compact disk. This would change the ability to enhance visual affects and other game capabilities by increasing the amount of data that could be stored.

    In 1995 Amazon opened as an online bookstore. It was Jeff Bezos who founded the company. Later Amazon would change the way people shopped by capitalizing on fast shipments right to the consumer’s doorstep.

    Larry Page and Sergio Brin created the google search engine while the were still students at Stanford University. Googling would later be a coined term for searching the internet.
