In 1941, my favorite car was invented. The first ever jeep was invented without a roof and doors. Many celebrities drove this around town. -

Rosie the riveter
Rosie the riveter was a motivator for all the women workers. In this time period, all the men had to go fight in wars so the women had to work. When nobody thought they could get it done, they started to so this was a motivator. -
Coral sea
This was a major naval battle involving the Japanese and United States. In total 92 aircrafts were destroyed which was a huge number for this time period. The Japanese were planning to take total control of the sea but the United States wasn't going to let this happen. -

This battle lasted only one month. The nazis ended up winning this battle. Approximately 156,000 troops successfully landing on the beach but more than 4,000 troops died and thousands either missing or wounded. -

First computer build
This is a time period where it was difficult to communicate due to the lack of technology. It all changed in 1945, when the first computer came out. -
Cold War
This war was inbetween the Japanese and United States. This was the first war that we experimented with atomic bombs which was a big threat to the Japanese. Nearly 400 Americans died from this war. -
Jackie Robinson joining the MLB
Jackie was the first African American baseball player to join the MLB. This is were he received a lot of death threats and got hate from a lot of supporters/fans. -
