Mercury Mission
Walter Schirra, Donald Slayton, John Glenn, Scott Carpenter, Alan Sheperd, Gus Grissom, and Gordon Cooper were sent into space in hopes of launching the manned space craft to orbit the earth. -
Apollo 11
Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin along with three others (their names are not listed) were sent on a misson to land on the moon and be the first people to land on the moon. This mission was issued by America and we became the first country to walk on the moon. -
The ACE Mission
The ACE mission, also known as Advanced Composition Explorer, was sent out into space to help understand and study energetic particles coming from the sun. Nobody was on this mission. -
