Walter Raleigh comes to the New World
Walter Raliegh traveled to the New to esatblish a new colony. He settles in Roanoke Island, but he arrived to late to harvest. Wlater return to England a year later in 1586 to get supplies. -
Lost Colony
Walter Raleigh put John White in charge of Roanoke. John W. decided to try to establish a more perminent Colony in chesapeake bay, and brings his falily along. Soon after Fernandez told John White to get more supplies, he soon leaves. John White returns to a deserted colony the only thing left was "CROATOAN" (The naem of a nearby Natve American tribe), a hurricane forced hime to leave, he names it "The Lost Colony". -
Jamestown Established
John Smith came to Virgina in the New World to esablish an new colony. Jamestown was established, the first english colony. Over time people have come to love the colony of Jamestown. -
House of Burgesses
The House of Burgesses was established in 1619. The House of Burgesses is an assembly established in 1619. -
Oceanus Hopkins born
Oceanus Hopkins was born in 1620 on the Mayflower on the way to Jamestown, but landed in Massachusetts Bay. They later established a colony in Massachesetts and made a life in there new colony. -
The First Thanks giving
Plymoth had an abundance of food, a good harvest, and no starving. They decided to celebrate the first Thanksgoving, which is a term for fasting and preying (not eating). -
Puritan come to the New World
The Puritan come to the New World to "Purify" or recreate the church religion (England). But most people wanted away from the church religion. The Puritan were't the best people and the exact opposite of the Pilgrims. -
Pilgims settle in plymouth
Pilgrims came to the New World to settle in Plymouth to get away from the church religion, to believe what they want, and be free in their new colony. -
Mayflower Compact
The parents of Oceanus Hopikins ment the sail to jamestown but landed millions of miles of coarse in Massachusetts, and decided to try to establish a new colony, they sign the Mayflower compact to keep order and make laws for their new colony. -
Pennsylvania is established
William Penn was arrested fpr worshipping the Quaker religion. King Charles II gave land in the New World so William P. can have Religious Freedom, and unjust imprisonments. This attrated settlers nationwide.
