My Birth
I was born on June 9, 1986 at Singing River Hospital. I weighed 7 pounds and 7 ounces. I was 21 inches long. My mother liked to have died having me. Every year when I have a birthday, she thanks God for keeping her and allowing her to see me grow up. -
My Illness
At age 3, I started having seizures. I was prescribed medication that slowed my thinking down. -
Ist Grade
I was not able to succeed in regular classes, so I was taken out of regular classes and placed in delayed learning. Delayed learning is the lowest level of learning there is. -
2nd Grade
I was doing very well in delayed learning, so I was taken out of delayed learning and placed in special education. -
6th Grade
The special education teachers had a meeting and contacted my mother saying that I have exceeded past the level of special education and that I should be placed in regular classes. They took me out of special education and placed me in regular classes along with learning strategies. -
7th Grade
I made A's and B's with assistance from my learning strategies class. When my instructor, Ms. Mosley, saw that I was doing so well, she took me out of learning strategies and told me that I had to do my own work independently. -
High School Graduation
From the 7th to the 12th grade I did all of my work independently and made A's and B's. I was ranked number 22 out of 150 students in my class. At my graduation, I was one out of three African Americans to graduate with highest honers. -
Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Graduation - Associate of Arts Degree
I attended MGCCC - JC Campus from August 2005 to May 2007. Here I was a Reflection's Team, BSU and Phi Theta Kappa member . August 2007, I was installed as the Vice President of Fellowship for Phi Theta Kappa the Pi Epsilon Chapter. Phi Theta Kappa is an honor society for junior college students that have a 3.5 or higher GPA. I maintained a 3.5 or higher GPA each semester that I attended MGCCC. May of 2007, I graduated from MGCCC with special honors. -

Abeneefuoo Kuo Induction
I will be getting inducted into to an African American Honor Society entitled Abeneefuoo Kuo Honor Society. This honor society is for African Americans that have a 3.0 or higher GPA.
