    Trail of Tears
    Many tribes were forced to travel the Trail of Tears from their native lands to present day Oklahoma. As many as 4,000 died on the journey to a land smaller and less comfortable than their previous home.

    The Trail of Death called for the forced removal of the Potawatomi tribes from the Midwestern U.S (Plymouth, Indiana) to Kansas. As part of the Indian Removal Act, this infamous act was enacted by the Federal Government.
